Jamil has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University where he specialized in machine design and project management. At McGill, he co-founded the first aircraft design team and helped build the framework for students to participate in international aircraft design competitions. Jamil has 3 years of professional experience in the energy industry with a focus on social entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and having more than 10 years of engineering experience in a variety of industries. Mehdi is highly experienced and skillful in engineering and product development, and also has entrepreneurship drive and passion for building remarkable businesses.
Diego is an entrepreneur and serial inventor with a B.A in marketing and administration and more than 15 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical systems, CNC handling, rapid prototyping, industrial automation and robotic architectures design. He brings experience, ingenuity and creativity to the design process behind our underground agriculture systems.
Hannes has a passion for finding simplified solutions to complex challenges. He’s a Chartered Accountant and entrepreneur with extensive industry experience from one of the big 4 accounting firms. He studied B.Com. and B.Com. Hons in Accounting Sciences (cum laude) at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. With international business, strategic, finance, auditing, project management, software implementation and startup experience from South Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia, China, Canada and the United States.
Ramón is a 4th year business and organizational leadership major at Valencia College with a passion for nonprofit work and community organizing. Formerly a McKinsey & Co. SBA, he has worked with a number Los Angeles nonprofits and municipal programs on sustainability efforts and educational change. They are particularly interested in how concepts of a “circular economy” can be combined with affordable housing and controlled environment agriculture to bring about sustained human flourishing At GreenForges, they work on building a flourishing, tight-knit community ecosystem that values the input of all stakeholders.
Guillaume has spent his career in data valorization from designing big data infrastructure to consumption and data envangelization. Having grown up on a farm, he is very interested in how to feed the planet in a smarter way, using the technology at our disposal to help.
Nicola is a passionate marketer with an entrepreneurial mindset. After graduating from Aix-Marseille University in applied languages and business, he moved to Taipei, Taiwan to study Mandarin Chinese, taking part into various projects that allowed him to build experience across different industries.
Pierre is an entrepreneur and owner of a civil construction company located in Ontario, Canada. He brings over twenty years experience in successful mining projects as well as hands-on expertise in drilling, mineral exploration, construction, real estate and logistics.
François graduated from the University of Sherbrooke with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. He has 10+ years of professional experience in the MedTech, AdTech, FinTech and Cloud industries, and worked for unicorn companies in the Silicon Valley area. He’s passionate about technologies that can make a difference and has an insatiable thirst to bring ideas to reality.
Simon graduated college in software development and has a broad range of interests from sound production to controlled environment agriculture - He brings creativity and software, as an entrepreneur who already makes use of creative software controlled embedded systems.
Samir graduated from Telecom High School Tunisia with a bachelor's degree in computer Engineering. Samir is passionate about technologies and has over 35 years of professional experience, including 20 years as a consultant and 10 years as a Technical Solution Architect. He has been working in big data and cloud native environments for 10 years.
